Things are crazy busy right now. To re-cap:

-Had a great academic week. The paper that I thought was cracked out went over well with my professor. He thought I should publish it. Wow. I think that he really meant it.
-we started meetings for our spring project. I had a strange moment today where I had opinions that were contrary to the group. I expressed them, people listened, and things are probably going to go my way. This is different from how I usually just sit and listen and wish that I could say what I was thinking.
-went to DC this weekend. I somehow managed to spend time with my family, dave, and therese. It was a great weekend overall, even if iapos;m stil getting caught up on schoolwork
-I met my new nephew. Heapos;s precious. I canapos;t belive that iapos;m an aunt.
-Ran into last boyapos;s dad and best friend at the pizza joint. It was a bit awkward, but genuinely good to see them. Itapos;s kind of nice it worked out. Those are people that iapos;m glad iapos;ve met, and due to the nature of the previous relationship will probably not have a relationshiup with in the future. Awkward chance encounters might be the best that I get
-Did the DC red dress run. 500 hashers in red dresses. We ran through the DC projects. People loved it. We got cheers and pictures. I went with Dave and therese. They had fun with each other, we had fun together. We ran. I wore a prom dress with sneakers and a sports bra (tre comfortable). The dinner and DJ were great.
-Had a great time with Dave this weekend. We talked through some stuff, had fun hanging out in the same space, and spent time with our respective friends and families. I wish that we had more time like that.
-got to spend some quality time with the sister
-Sent in my first job application. I applied for presidential management fellows. The strange thing is that if I get this, it might be my only job application
